AtmosTheatre is pleased to announce the 2010 debut of San Francisco Theater Pub, which is focused on premiering
re-imagined classics, original work and workshops, and general creativity of the rehearsed and scripted
variety in a casual bar environment where theater artists and audience can mix and work.
Founded by company members Stuart Bousel, Victor Carrion, Bennett Fisher, and Brian Markley in the fall of 2009,
the San Francisco Theater Pub will operate out of
Cafe Royale in San Francisco and will play on
traditional theater "dark nights" like Mondays and Tuesdays. Please visit the

Theban Chronicles
Adapted by Stuart Bousel
June 15, 21, 28, 29
Cafe Royale (800 Post Street, San Francisco, at Leavenworth)
8pm each night - pay what you wish ($10 suggested donation)
San Francisco Theater Pub returns to the Cafe Royale with a four night mini-series centered around the myth of
Oedipus and Antigone, told through the eyes of three masters of classical theater (Euripedes, Sophocles and
Aeschylus) in a dramatically compelling new revision by Stuart Bousel. Linking the multiple versions of the
legend to create throughlines and character arcs never before realized, each episode of the series will be
directed by one of San Francisco's best up and coming directors, working with a cast that's a virtual who's
who of the indy theater scene.
PART ONE is directed by Meg O'Connor. PART TWO is directed by Maryanne Olsen. PART THREE is directed
by Sara Judge. PART FOUR is directed by Amy Clare Tasker.
The Theban Chronicles play June 15, June 21, June 28 and June 29, respectively, always starting at 8pm.
The Company includes Rosie Hallett, Nirmala Nataraj, Addie Ulrey (June 15), Xanadu Bruggers, Danielle Doyle,
Katarina Fabic (June 21), Catherine Lardis, Celeste Van Etten, Elana McKernon (June 28), Annie Paladino and
Richard Wenzel (June 29).
